Usually, a range of available price plans and services in the billing is set for a large group of customers. For this, Hydra uses basic contracts.
Include the basic contract in a customer’s contract, and he or she will have access to all the services specified in it.
Hydra allows redefining a standard set of services and prices for a narrower group of customers. For this, basic contracts inherit hierarchically.
Add an individual price specification with special conditions to a customer’s contract, and it will redefine prices from the basic contract. You can have an infinite number of such levels of inheritance.
Individual price plans that are not included in standard ranges of plans are a separate case. Such plans are common for b2b customers. Often, they differ only in price and access settings, so it’s convenient to use the same plan, setting conditions for separate customers in individual price specifications.
Hydra allows selling the same service to different clients under different conditions and at different prices, so you don’t need to create a lot of services in the product catalog. Total revenues for this service will be convenietly reflected in reports by a single row.
